The planning committee of the second edition of Leopard Ladies Tournament and Beauty Pageant slated for August has embarked on the preparatory process by inspecting Lafarge Golf Club, Sagamu where the unique event would be held. “Participants are expected much from outside the country, as many have signified interests from Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia and Senegal,” said the coordinator. “The Leopard Golf and Beauty Pageant is not just one of a golf tournament like we used to, but a unique one put up to showcase our tradition. “Wearing leopard print is a way of saying I am a woman, who is not afraid of being identified with African predatorily. It shows a desire to connect with nature, especially when we are increasingly urban,” Reece, a former Lady Captain of Ikoyi Golf Club noted.
